Philip is blessed with a rich baritone voice capable of moving from Musicals and Ballads through to Operetta and on to Grand Opera. All fall easily within his vocal talent, and this - combined with real stage presence gives Philip the ability to make any entertainment really special.

Philip was born on the south coast of England, and as a child sang as a boy soloist with many chiors, after his voice broke, he started singing at a number of music festivals, winning many first prizes, during this time he came to the attention of the renowned English baritone John Carol-Case, who recommended that he studied at the Guildhall School of Music, which he did under the direction of the New Zealand baritone Bryan Drake.

On leaving college he continued his vocal studies with the international opera singer Anna Reynolds, and later with Sally Lesage.
Philip has appeared in Musicals, Cabaret, Classical Concerts and Opera throughout this country and abroad. He has also made a number of radio broadcasts, and recorded with The Dominion International Opera.
